Supporting everyone to be healthy and live well

Volunteering with ERH

About Volunteering at ERH

Echuca Regional Health (ERH) understands how important it is to care for our community. Our community is also our families, friends and neighbours. Volunteers play a vital role at Echuca Regional Health and like many organisations; we would struggle to survive without them.
People volunteer for many reasons and in many different ways. At ERH we have 50 volunteers who provide support to our staff, patients and families and the wider community.  We appreciate and value the wonderful role they play in the hospital experience, as the conduit between healthcare and the human connection. Our volunteers perform a diversity of roles. They are varied and talented people who have a wide range of interests – professional people, retirees, newcomers to our community, students, men and women of all ages and social backgrounds. They are ordinary people making extraordinary contributions.
You can volunteer for an hour each month or one day each week – it is your choice. Volunteer opportunities are available in many areas – the hospital’s Emergency Department, ward areas, concierge, administration support, companionship, gardening and fundraising. There are many opportunities within ERH and Glanville Village to suit everyone.
