Services
Echuca Regional Health and Murray Valley Imaging share a digital imaging system and are proud to offer referrers access to our PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) for online access to medical images and reports.
The following diagnostic services are offered within the Medical Imaging department:
- General X-ray
- Fluoroscopy & Barium Studies
- Ultrasound
- Mammography
- Orthopantomography (OPG & ceph )
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Nuclear medicine
It is advisable to make an appointment for all tests as there may be a requirement for prior preparation.
Fees
Fees vary according to what examination has been performed and patients will be told what that fee is at the time of making an appointment.
Patients with a current Health Care card or pension card will be bulk-billed on the presentation of their card.
Workcover and TAC patients are asked to bring the relevant details with them.
All other patients will be required to pay for their x-ray or ultrasound at the completion of their examination.
Rebates can be claimed from Medicare immediately after payment.
