Speech Pathology
The Speech Pathologists work with children and adults with difficulties in the areas of communication and swallowing. The Speech Pathologists provide services to hospital inpatients and aged care facilities and to community clients including both adults and children aged 0-6 years. Generally, appointments are held in the Primary Care building, however alternative arrangements such as home visiting, pre-school visiting, attendance at external meetings may be made where special circumstances exist, depending on time and resources.
In addition, an arrangement exists with the Campaspe Schools Network for services to its member schools.
Referrals are accepted from any source by contacting the Intake Worker, Primary Care Reception. Referrals for the school service are managed at the school level, through the class teachers.

In accordance with the Department of Human Services Fees Policy, charges for Speech Pathology consultations for community clients are as follows:
- $12.40 per consultation;
- $8.00 per consultation for holders of a Health Care Card.
