The Renal Dialysis Unit at Echuca Regional Health has been operating for just over 10 years. It provides an essential service for renal patients in the Echuca/Moama area.

The Unit has 3 dialysis chairs and operates 6 days per week. Patients come in for treatments 3 times per week with dialysis sessions lasting for 4 to 5 hours.

RDU is a satellite unit coordinated by Austin Health, however patients treated through other metropolitan hospitals can utilise the service.

Renal physicians from Austin Health visit the Unit monthly to review each patient.
