Community Rehabilitation Centre
The process of rehabilitation promotes the restoration of physical and emotional well being. Rehabilitation consists of planned intervention by a multi disciplinary team of health professionals, who strive to deliver holistic quality care to aid your recovery.
The therapy commenced whilst in hospital continues at the Echuca Regional Health Community Rehabilitation Centre as a managed programme ensuring the patient gains full benefit from their recent medical treatment.
Community members also requiring therapy intervention from nursing and allied health professionals may also be referred.
Involvement with our team will assist in rehabilitation periods to maximise recovery, improve mobility, and regain strength and function - enhancing the patient's quality of life.
The Community Rehabilitation Centre provides a multi disciplinary rehabilitation service to enable clients who are disabled, frail, chronically ill or recovering from traumatic injury, orthopaedic or general surgery, to achieve and retain optimal functional independence.
Referrals
Referrals are accepted from Medical Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, Nursing staff, community providers and clients or their carer.
Written referrals can be forwarded to the Community Rehabilitation Centre or telephone referrals made on (03) 54 85 5850.
Transport
Limited transport is available for clients living in the central Echuca area.
Fees
$5.00 per Centre conducted session - $8.00 hydrotherapy.
