Lasting Legacy - Help Secure a Healthy Future
Planning and making a Will is a very personal matter. Of course your primary concern would be to ensure that you have adequately provided for your loved ones. Having ensured their future, then you may wish to consider a gift in your Will to the Echuca Regional Health Foundation.
There is a way you can ensure your family is cared for when you are no longer here.
By considering the Echuca Regional Health Foundation as a beneficiary as part of your estate, you can be sure that the people you care about will be treated to the very latest in medical technology, with the benefits of local quality care for years to come.
Your legacy will make a difference.
So many services already offered by Echuca Regional Health could be improved with your help. New technology and treatments we can only dream of could be accessed thanks to your legacy.
By making a bequest to the Echuca Regional Health Foundation, you are making an ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of those treasured people in your life. It means that when you are no longer here to love and care for your family, you can be sure that there is a team of local, skilled professionals working to care for your loved ones - as much as you do.

How are the funds used?
The funds are used to improve, develop and maintain your local health service.
Capital contributions are retained to build capital base, while interest earned is allocated for equipment purchases and special projects on an annual basis.
I want my legacy to be used or a specific purpose - is that possible?
If you have a specific area that you would like your legacy to be committed to, you can choose for your bequest to be used for this purpose alone. For example, if you would like your bequest to be used for the Rose Baker maternity wing, then you can stipulate this. However it is recommended that bequests be managed by the Foundation in order to ensure that funds are being utilised in the areas of most need.
Living Legacy
In recent times, many people have elected to provide a portion of their bequest while they are living. The benefit of this is that you are able to see first hand the great achievements that are being made in your legacy. There also may be tax benefits to giving a living bequest, it is important to discuss this with your accountant.
You may choose to give your legacy anonymously, or to be recognised in the community as an ambassador of Echuca Regional Health, and to encourage others to join you in providing a living legacy.
